It was with both excitement and a feeling of sadness we announced that after 70 years of operation, E.R. Cornish Pty Ltd trading as E.R.C. Packaging, had closed our doors for business as from Friday 16th December 2022. A small administration team was on hand to take care of the closure of accounts and the like but the company ceased to be on 30th June 2023 exactly 70 years since the company was first registered by Eric Royston Cornish ( Hence the ERC part of our name). There have been 49 employees with only 3 Managing Directors over those 70 years. We have operated out of 5 premises during our operation being 149 Bouverie St Carlton, 144 Lygon St Carlton, 73 Lygon St East Brunswick, 153 Barkly St East Brunswick and finally 1 Catherine St Coburg Nth which we vacated at the end of March 2023
We wish to thank all our wonderful customers and suppliers that we have had the privilege of working with over so many years both here in Australia and overseas including Netherlands, Japan, Taiwan, Korea and China.
We have been proud to have been a member of the APPMA for many years and we wish them well as they head into a new era. The exciting APPEX exhibition is the next evolution of the well known Auspack exhibition. We exhibited at that show many times dating back to the 1990’s until recently when we decided to close.
We have always prided ourselves on our service and with this in mind we have compiled at list of recommended suppliers to assist you with ongoing supplies.
